The film is about a boy named Esmaeel who lives in a remote village. Esmaeel's father is a brave warrior who is very sick and bedridden. With the encouragement of his teacher and mother, Esmaeel decides to go to the city despite the heavy snow and rain to get medicine from the doctor for his father's jaundice so that he can recover and not die. His teacher, Mr. Mousavi, and one of the boys from the village named Rahman accompany him. On the way to the city, the teacher decides to return because one of his legs is artificial and he cannot walk with them; and the two boys go to the city together. On the way back, the teacher encounters wolves and escapes from them and falls into a well, and the wolves are waiting outside the well for him to freeze to death so that they can eat him. Esmaeel and Rahman go to the city and somehow go to the doctor's office and get medicine.
