iFilm series 'Confidant' to go on air

iFilm English TV Channel's series ‘Confidant’ has been scheduled to go on air from May 12, 2025.

Directed by Saman Moqaddam, the 2000 drama narrates the story of Siavash, a former thief who’s spent the last five years of his life reminiscing about the jewelry he and his friend stole from a jewelry store.

He’s just got out of prison and is off to find the jewelry his friend hid in a mass land; his world turns upside down when he sees a mosque has been built on that land.

He pretends to be an innocent worshiper who’s made a vow to God to serve in the mosque to look for the jewelry with his new friend “his gold detector”, life takes a whole new and different toll for Siavash as he looks for the jewelry.

The cast list of the series includes Abolfazl Pourarab, Majid Moshiri, Enayat Bakhshi, Anahita Nemati, and Amir Nouri.

‘Confidant’, a replacement for the series ‘Neighbors’, is scheduled to go on air daily at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00. It is comprised of seven episodes.
