Trailer for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 breaks viewer records

The trailer for ‘Game of Thrones’ final season has broken viewer records in the first 24 hours of its release.

According to a media report, the American premium cable and satellite television network HBO unveiled the trailer for the final season of fantasy drama television series ‘Game of Thrones’ on March 5, 2019.

Statistics show that the trailer was viewed more than 81 million times in the first 24 hours of its release.

The previous record for ‘Game of Thrones’ trailer belonged to the flick’s teaser for season 7 which was viewed by more than 61 million viewers two years ago.  

The eighth and final season of the television series 'Game of Thrones' is scheduled to premiere on April 14, 2019.
