‘In the Eye of the Storm’ was my first experience: Actress to ifilm

If you do not recognize Niyousha Zeyghami by name, you will probably recognize her by face, having made fairly regular appearances on ifilm TV screen.

Zeyghami has talked exclusively to ifilm about her first-time appearance as an actress in ifilm current series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’.

Before Zeyghami has become the star of innumerable projects that she was told would make her a cinema star, she was one more newcomer looking for guidance; and ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ was her first experience as an actress that, as she puts it, “It wasn’t noticeable at all that it’s my first time before the camera.”

Playing the role of a soon-to-be bride in ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ who has to witness the killing of her husband, Zeyghami holds the idea that if she appeared quite successful in the series, it was because of the ability and the outlook of Masoud Jafari-Jozani as the director.

“He made me believe what the role and the situation were and who I was supposed to bring into life. He in fact gave me the key I needed for the role and it was a good thing in the end.”

The 39-year-old actress also compliments ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ director, saying “If I am to talk about Mr. Jozani, I should tell you that he is very kind. And I’ve seen his kindness when working with the team.”
