ifilm English website has set to introduce Iranian top vocalists to the channel viewers.
The first on the list is Iranian traditional singer Mohammad Motamedi whose music piece ‘Now That You’re Leaving’ will also be featured on the channel’s weekly show ‘You&ifilm’ this Saturday.
Born in 1978, Mohammad Motamedi is an award-winning Iranian vocalist who has been in the profession since early ages. He started off as a self-trained musician when a teenager. He then took lessons by famous Iranian artists such as Hamid-Reza Nourbakhsh.
Motamedi has published several albums and has been working with a number of renowned Iranian artists such as Hossein Alizadeh.
He has won the 2013 French Music Award which has been presented to him by the Babel Med Music.
