iFilm to pursue ‘Coast Guard’ mission

Airing of the iFilm English TV’s series ‘Coast Guard’ has been set to be started on Saturday.

Made in 2005, the police-theme series is directed by Mohsen Shah-Mohammadi and produced by Houman Kabiri.

The series is set in a port in the southern Iran, where a successful factory owner, Akbar Amini, goes missing.

His newly-wed daughter and son-in-law have come all the way from Tehran to look for him, but it looks like they will have to go through smugglers and drug dealers first!

This is when Souban Esmaeeli, a police officer, enters the scene to investigate the missing.

The series cast list includes Linda Kiani, Akbar Zanjanpour, Enayat Bakhshi, Iraj Rad, Hadis Fouladvand, Soheila Razavi, Elham Pavehnejad, Ahmad Najafi, Keivan Mahmoudnejad, Ali Mardaneh, Bahram Ebrahimi, Ali Ashkan, and Farideh Garmsari.

‘Coast Guard’ is a replacement for the series ‘Worlds Apart’ which is scheduled to go on air daily at 21:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will repeat each episode of the series the next day at 2:00, 6:00, 13:00. It is comprised of 13 episodes.
