Charming scenes from Alendan Lake: Photos

Alendan Lake is a mere charm located in Sari County in Iran’s northern province of Mazandaran.        

The lake, inscribed on Iran’s national heritage list, encompasses a 17-hectare area which reaches 30 hectares when it rains.

It receives its water supply only from precipitation and is not connected to any river.

Due to its location and type of soil, water driving from precipitation (rain or snow) flows into it.
