BronzeLens fest to screen ‘Mirror’

The BronzeLens Film Festival (BLFF) in the US is set to screen Iranian short film ‘Mirror’.

Directed by Faranak Moradi, the short will be on the showcase at the 12th edition of the Oscar qualifying American film event.

 ‘Mirror’ is about a woman who upon the death of her brother-in-law pays a visit to her sister for consolation.

At the time of her visit, she goes to their basement where a secret unravels.

The film’s cast list includes Nasim Moslemi, Bahar Radmand and Behnaz Jafari.

The short is currently screening at the 25th edition of the LA Shorts International Film Festival.

Founded in 2009, the BLFF aims to provide grounds for new generation of filmmakers to emerge. It also means to make Atlanta, the festival location, as the center for people of color.

This year’s edition of the fest is slated for August 17-22.
