iFilm English TV to launch ‘A Beautiful Revolution’

iFilm English TV Channel has been set to start airing ‘A Beautiful Revolution’ on Thursday night.

Produced by Ramin Abbasizadeh and directed by Behrang Tofiqi, the series is a narrative of a SAVAK torturer returning to Iran after 35 years living abroad as a fugitive.

The cancer-stricken agent of the now-defunct Shah regime pretends that he has switched sides and wants to support the Islamic Revolution’s goals. He quickly steals the limelight to further his agenda.

However, the police, his daughter, and others find out what’s going on behind the scenes.

The cast list includes Atila Pesyani, Azadeh Samadi, Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Fariba Kosari, Majid Vasheqani, Majid Mozaffari, Shaqayeq Farahani, and Reza Afshar.

Made in 2014, ‘A Beautiful Revolution’ will replace the sequel of ‘Operation 125’ to be aired daily at 20:00 GMT. The new series is comprised of 22 episodes.
