Gahar Lake, best for nature lovers

Iran’s Gahar Lake in Lorestan Province is one of the best destinations for nature lovers. 

Gahar Lake nestles among Oshtorankuh mountains and is known for its mesmerizing beauty that attracts nature lovers.

The mountain lake is located at an altitude of 2,350 meters above sea level.

It consists of two parts: Large Gahar with an area of about 100 hectares, and Small Gahar.

The depth of the lake ranges from 4 to 28 meters.

It has a length of 1,500 meters and a width of 400 to 800 meters.
