Maral to threaten CEO in ‘My Mother’

Maral (Mahgol) is to threaten the CEO of the company, who is his son-in-law Navid, in iFilm’s social drama ‘My Mother’.

Maral knows so many things about the problems in the company. Half of their products are being returned. Their share values have dropped. They had to lay off so many people and put up a part of the company’s assets for auction and sell them.

She is not about to simply overlook the fruits of her lifetime's hard work and effort. "So, I’m gonna protect it with the same diligence that it took for me to build it, Maral tells Navid," Maral says to Navid.

Written by Amir-Abbas Payam, directed by Javad Afshar and produced by Esmaeel Afifeh, ‘My Mother’ tells the story of a strong woman who has been through the ups and downs of life and managed to survive and thrive.

But an old secret unravels her life and disturbs her peace. She realizes some of her loved ones have gravely wronged her and sets on a path to get back what was taken away.
