Recitation of holy Quran: A Ramadan practice

Reciting the holy book of Quran during the fasting month of Ramadan is highly recommended since it is believed to act as intercessors with Almighty Allah.

The recitation of Quran in Ramadan has special importance because it was during this month that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the Quranic revelations for the first time during Laylat al-Qadr, and the holy book became a source of complete guidance for us.

God has promised that the reward for doing good in this month is utmost, so much so that it gives the believers a completely clean slate, erases all their sins and gives them an opportunity to start over. 

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, a holy month that Muslims look forward to every single year.

This practice has been touched upon in many Iranian movies and series.
