Major Sayyaf to commit a murder in ‘The Lady’

Major Sayyaf is to commit a murder in iFilm’s historical series ‘The Lady’.

Mokhtar had seen the major committing a crime some twenty years ago.

Now that Sayyaf is asking for his daughter’s hand, Mokhtar reminds him of the crime he committed.

Sayyaf chose to eliminate the witness by committing another crime, despite Mokhtar having no intention of scaring, intimidating, or blackmailing the major by reminding him of the initial crime.

Each episode of the 13-part historical series will be repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.

Directed by Farid Sajjadi Hosseini, ‘The Lady’ narrates the story of an oppressed woman hunting down those responsible for her loss to regain her self-worth through cathartic retribution.

“A mysterious man calling himself the Steward shows up in town with money from an anonymous donor whom he calls the Lady to buy a garden and turn it into a charitable hospital. It turns out the garden the Lady has in mind was the property of a man who has been dead for 20 years – a man who was her husband.

The Lady was banished and driven out of town all those years ago for allegedly driving her husband to commit suicide. Now she is back and wants revenge against those that she says unjustly ruined her life and deprived her of living with her son, who does not even know that she is alive,” a synopsis for the series reads.

The cast list of the series includes Siavash Tahmoures, Kaveh Khoda-Shenas, Fariba Kosari, Sareh Bayat, Zahra Saeedi, Shahab Kasraee, and Daryoush Arjmand.
