Donya’s hardships to begin in ‘Passing Through the Hardships’

In the 5th episode of iFilm’s period drama ‘Passing Through the Hardships’ to be aired at 23:00 GMT, Donya prepares to make the biggest sacrifice of her life.

Donya’s happy world becomes tainted with paining thoughts when she finds out that her father is under loads of pressure due to financial problems.

She is willing to accept the new offer that has come her way and move to Engineer’s house to become the caregiver of his children only because she is told they will give her father a piece of land, which can relieve some of the old man’s burden.

To be apart from her dad will break her heart but she sees it as a chance to repay her father’s kindness and love.

Will Donya’s father consent to her moving to the city and away from him?  

Directed by Fereydoun Hassanpour, the series hits the air every evening at 23:00 GMT (2:30 Tehran time). Each episode will repeat the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 all GMT times.

‘Passing Through the Hardships’ narrates the most troubled life story of a woman named Donya. On the show, we will see how misery accompanies the poor woman from birth to death.

Among the cast members of the flick are Pejman Bazeghi, Bijan Emkanian, Mehran Rajabi, Payam Dehkordi and late Iranian actress Mahchehreh Khalili.
