Key to redemption: Donya's battle for new beginning

In tonight's gripping episode of the period drama 'Passing through the Hardships' at 23:00 GMT (2:30 Tehran time), Donya's life takes an unexpected turn as she returns to the village seeking peace with her young son.  

Determined to start anew, she confronts the village chief to claim the key to the villa left to her by her late noble-born husband, Hedayat.

However, the chief, entrusted by Hedayat's first wife Katayoun, refuses to hand over the key, setting the stage for a tense battle of wills.

 As Donya fights for her rightful inheritance, she faces the disapproving gaze of the villagers, leaving her wondering if she can ever find solace in this close-knit community.

‘Passing through the Hardships’ narrates the most troubled life story of a woman named Donya. On the show, we will see how misery accompanies the poor woman from birth to death.

Among the cast members of the flick are Pejman Bazeghi, Bijan Emkanian, Mehran Rajabi, Payam Dehkordi and the late Iranian actress Mahchehreh Khalili.
