Seeking shadows of past in 'Passing through the Hardships'

Sara, now a grown woman, finds herself yearning to connect with her roots. Recent revelations have shattered her understanding of her family dynamics. She has learned that her father, who passed away years ago, married another woman named Donya.

From this union, Sara discovers she has a half-brother named Mehrdad. Intrigued and desperate to seek closure, she decides to reach out to Donya in the hopes of meeting her long-lost sibling.

Complicating matters is the fact that Sara and her mother are preparing to emigrate, intending to sell their possessions to secure their future. Amidst this uncertain time, Sara feels a deep longing to reunite with her brother, if only for a brief encounter.

However, when Sara finally meets with Donya, she is met with an unexpected revelation. Donya, now married to another man named Hamid, has built a new life with him and their two children.

She confides in Sara that Mehrdad is unaware of the truth—that Hamid is not his biological father.

‘Passing through the Hardships: Episode 29’ promises to be an emotionally charged installment, exploring themes of identity, sacrifice, and the power of family ties.
