Nasser to cheat in ‘Brother’: iFilm cut

Nasser will have a second party in doing his dirty job in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘Brother’ to be aired at 21:00 GMT (00:30 Tehran time).

Nasser is not the child Haj Kazem Pahlavan though he had trained to be. He defies whatever he has been taught as a son of this family.

Despite his father who had tried to be the most honest a man can be in his business and sold the best quality goods, Nasser is willing to sell the lowest quality good for good money.

However he knows that if his father finds out about his fraudulent behavior, he might be expelled from the business and even from the family home. So, he will act wise and will ask another person to do his dirty job.

Each episode of the 29-part series will be repeated the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.

Directed by Javad Afshar, the series revolves around Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a well-respected merchant in Tehran's rice bazaar. He strongly advocates for domestic production and exclusively trades Iranian rice, showcasing his unwavering commitment to his principles.

This puts him at odds with his disgruntled son, Nasser, who thinks making a profit is the only thing that matters.

In the meantime, his daughter, Maryam, a passionate young journalist, is conducting her own investigation into the expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. To her surprise, all the clues lead to her own brother, Nasser.

A power struggle between good and evil ensues, in a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hassan Pourshirazi, Hossein Yari, Pouriya Poursorkh, Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Majid Vasheqani, Soheila Razavi, and Kaveh Khoda-Shenas are on the cast list of the series.
