Masoud wants peace for his dying father in ‘Brother’: iFilm cut

What would a son want for his father who is not going to live long in tonight’s episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘Brother’ to be aired at 21:00 GMT?

Since Masoud has been back to his family, he has received great deal of unbearable news; the most excruciation of all was when the doctor told him that his father was not going to live much longer.

The great love he has for his father will make him want to do something to help the old man be at peace in the final days of his life. Then, he needs to manage the entire crisis their family has faced.

To begin with, he will need to manage the situation with Nasser and his dishonest conduct when it comes to their family business.

Each episode of the 29-part series will be repeated the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.

Directed by Javad Afshar, the series is about Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a reputable merchant in Tehran’s rice bazaar, who is all about supporting domestic production and trades nothing but Iranian rice.

This puts him at odds with his disgruntled son, Nasser, who thinks making a profit is the only thing that matters.

In the meantime, his daughter, Maryam, a passionate young journalist, is conducting her own investigation into the expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. To her surprise, all the clues lead to her own brother, Nasser.

What ensues is a power struggle between good and evil, in a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hassan Pourshirazi, Hossein Yari, Pouriya Poursorkh, Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Majid Vasheqani, Soheila Razavi, and Kaveh Khoda-Shenas are on the cast list of the series.
