Masoud is to go to marriage proposal in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘Brother’.

The lady whom Masoud is going to propose to has a little daughter. So, just before going to the proposal, Haj Kazem has some fatherly advice for his beloved son.

“Every time you share your food with an orphan, all of the heavens call out your name. Every time you caress her hair, it’s as if you’re setting foot on the stairs to heaven,” Haj Kazem says.

Each episode of the 29-part series will be repeated the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.

Directed by Javad Afshar, the series is about Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a reputable merchant in Tehran’s rice bazaar, who is all about supporting domestic production and trades nothing but Iranian rice.

This puts him at odds with his disgruntled son, Nasser, who thinks making a profit is the only thing that matters.

In the meantime, his daughter, Maryam, a passionate young journalist, is conducting her own investigation into the expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. To her surprise, all the clues lead to her own brother, Nasser.

What ensues is a power struggle between good and evil, in a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hassan Pourshirazi, Hossein Yari, Pouriya Poursorkh, Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Majid Vasheqani, Soheila Razavi, and Kaveh Khoda-Shenas are on the cast list of the series.
