Atieh tells Masoud she doesn’t want the marriage in ‘Brother’

Atieh tells Masoud that she cannot marry him in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘Brother’.

Her ex-father-in-law, the grandfather of her daughter has been informed that Atieh is going to marry another man after the death of her husband.

But the ex-father-in-law doesn’t want his granddaughter live in the house of another man and be raised by a stepfather. So, he has threatened Atieh to take the girl away if she wants to marry Masoud.

Each episode of the 29-part series will be repeated the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.

Directed by Javad Afshar, the series is about Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a reputable merchant in Tehran’s rice bazaar, who is all about supporting domestic production, and trades nothing but Iranian rice.

This puts him at odds with his disgruntled son, Nasser, who thinks making a profit is the only thing that matters.

In the meantime, his daughter, Maryam, a passionate young journalist, is conducting her own investigation into the expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. To her surprise, all the clues lead to her own brother, Nasser.

What ensues is a power struggle between good and evil, in a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hassan Pourshirazi, Hossein Yari, Pouriya Poursorkh, Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Majid Vasheqani, Soheila Razavi, and Kaveh Khoda-Shenas are on the cast list of the series.
