Redemption on wheels in 'Brother' series

Masoud and Haj Kazem are to hit the road in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘Brother’.

Haj Kazem’s doctor told the older son not to leave his father alone as he doesn’t have much time left. So, Masoud would do anything for his father’s satisfaction.

When Haj Kazem asks his older son to come along on a road trip, Masoud happily agrees, treating his father's wish as his own command. They're planning to make up for some of Nasser's misdeeds.

Each episode of the 29-part series will be repeated the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.

Directed by Javad Afshar, the series is about Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a reputable merchant in Tehran’s rice bazaar, who is all about supporting domestic production, and trades nothing but Iranian rice.

This puts him at odds with his disgruntled son, Nasser, who thinks making a profit is the only thing that matters.

In the meantime, his daughter, Maryam, a passionate young journalist, is conducting her own investigation into the expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. To her surprise, all the clues lead to her own brother, Nasser.

What ensues is a power struggle between good and evil, in a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hassan Pourshirazi, Hossein Yari, Pouriya Poursorkh, Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Majid Vasheqani, Soheila Razavi, and Kaveh Khoda-Shenas are on the cast list of the series.
