Masoud beats up Atieh’s brother-in-law in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘Brother’.

Going to meet Atieh, Masoud sees a man giving her flowers at her door. He chases the man and finds him giving flowers to another woman too.

He gets angry and starts beating up the man without knowing that he is Atieh’s brother-in-law.

Directed by Javad Afshar, the series is about Haj Kazem Pahlavan, a reputable merchant in Tehran’s rice bazaar, who is all about supporting domestic production and trades nothing but Iranian rice.

This puts him at odds with his disgruntled son, Nasser, who thinks making a profit is the only thing that matters.

In the meantime, his daughter, Maryam, a passionate young journalist, is conducting her own investigation into the expired and contaminated foreign rice flooding the market. To her surprise, all the clues lead to her own brother, Nasser.

What ensues is a power struggle between good and evil, in a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hassan Pourshirazi, Hossein Yari, Pouriya Poursorkh, Reza Tavakkoli, Gelareh Abbasi, Majid Vasheqani, Soheila Razavi, and Kaveh Khoda-Shenas are on the cast list of the series.
