Friendship vs. ethics in ‘The Innocent Ones’: iFilm cut

Entezam’s learning about Asef’s illegitimate business might jeopardize their age-old friendship in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘The Innocent Ones’,

Asef is running an illegal side business of importing the same goods as he legally exports for all the financial interests he will gain conducting this sort of trade.

Before Mr. Entezam found out about it, it was only Asef and his assistant, Mr. Kamali, who knew of their smuggling scheme.

There is now the fear that Entezam will cause them trouble as he is a perfectly candid man and might not remain silent when there is such a dirty business running.

Kamali offers to bribe Entezam to buy his silence, but Asef rejects the idea as he says, “Entezam is too honest for that. You can’t buy him with anything”.

‘The Innocent Ones’, produced by Saeed Shahsavari and directed by Ahmad Amini, is a television drama that deals with social issues.

Long ago, three young men robbed a bank together, but when the plan went wrong, one of them ended up dead, another in prison, and the third one ran away.

After 25 years, the fugitive comes back to Iran to make up for his past sins, but compensation has its own cost.

The series cast list includes Amir Aqaee, Fariba Kosari, Sareh Bayat, Mehrdad Ziaee, Parviz Pour-Hosseini, Masoud Keramati, Daryoush Farhang, Jamshid Gorgin, and Mehdi Pakdel.
