It has been nearly a year since Amin Tarokh, the star of iFilm series ‘Sometimes Look Back at Your Life’, passed away.

The veteran actor would be 70 years old today if he were still alive.

The 20th day of the Persian calendar month of Mordad, which falls on Friday this year, marks the birth anniversary of Amin Tarokh.

Tarokh is remembered as one of the most important stars of Iran and founder of an acting school that helped many people to become important actors later.

Shahram Qaedi, known for his roles in ‘The Fifth Sun’, ‘Five Kilometers from Heaven’, and ‘The Times’ previously aired on iFilm, participated in Tarokh’s acting workshops.

Tarokh died last September a few days after having a heart attack and being hospitalized, leaving his family and fans in deep sorrow.

iFilm English broadcasts ‘Sometimes Look Back at Your Life’, directed by Maziar Miri, that stars Tarokh every day at 19:00 GMT.

Each episode will be replayed the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 GMT.

Besides Tarokh, the cast members of the series also include Hedayat Hashemi, Hamid Ebrahimi and Bahareh Kian-Afshar.
