Life-changing medical diagnosis in ‘Zaferani’

Mr. Zaferani and his wife are to receive unspeakable news at the laboratory in the 3rd episode of iFilm’s ‘Zaferani’.

Nasrin Zaferani’s latest health condition made her and her husband sick worried that there might be something serious.

Waiting for the serologic test results, the two speculated lots of possible diagnoses, the worst of which was cancerous tumor. However, the test result may leave them totally flabbergasted.

They gave it the slightest chance that at this age and time she could be expecting a happy event.

To the aged couple’s surprise, Nasrin is pregnant, which makes her experience mixed feelings of panic and happiness.

Watch the upcoming episode of the show tonight at 23:00 GMT to see how the two grapple with the idea of disclosing the news to their grownup children. Each episode of the show has three replays the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.

‘Zaferani’ narrates the story of a man named Mr. Zaferani and his family, who run a small tea house together. When the man first came to Tehran from Mashhad, a friend of his, Mr. Motamed, gave him his land to work on it, and Mr. Zaferani built the same tea house there.

The story gets its twist when Mr. Motamed dies and his eldest son, Homayoun, claims the place back to build an apartment complex.
