iFilm English TV to wave goodbye for ‘Parvaneh’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode of ‘Parvaneh’ on Thursday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Mansour Sohrabpour and directed by Jalil Saman, will be aired on September 7, 2023 at 22:00 GMT.

The series is a television drama about a romantic relationship before the Islamic Revolution.

Amir meets up with a member of the deposed Shah’s secret police in Iran, SAVAK, to find any trace of his wife.

The SAVAK member’s daughter, Parvaneh, finds Amir in her house and figures her father has some information at hand with a top-secret code.

To find a guide to her relentless quest, she helps Amir hunt for tell-tale clues as to his wife’s whereabouts.

The cast list of the series includes Elham Charkhandeh, Hamed Komeili, Shahram Abdoli, Nima Raeesi, and Hedayat Hashemi.

‘Parvaneh’, produced in 2013, will be replaced by ‘As Blue as the Sea’ made by Abolqasem Ma’arefi.
