Review on Iran, world cinema box office last weekend: Part 8

Bollywood movie ‘Jawan’ has set new record in Dubai box office, ascending to the first rank of this year's bestsellers.

The Indian movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, not only manages to rule the weekly box office, but also becomes the highest movie of the year so far, three weeks through its screening.

During the 39th week of 2023, the film succeeded to attract 44,194 cinema goers to the theater halls in Dubai.

Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ went to top of the list of total admissions, forcing ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1’ by Christopher McQuarrie to the second spot.

Action/adventure Hollywood movie ‘Expend4bles’ sold 41,800 passes in its first week of screening and occupied the second position in the box office.

Angel Manuel Soto’s action/adventure movie ‘Blue Beetle’, on screen for five weeks, comes third this week, selling 29,709 tickets.
