Holding to turn out sham front in ‘The Doormat’: iFilm cut

In the 19th episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s comedy series ‘The Doormat’, the mastermind behind the profitable holding company is to leave everyone high and dry.

When Mansour walked into Nosrat’s life, he had big promises of turning his life upside down and help him earn loads of money, which he could never imagine owing even in his wildest dreams.

Everything was way better than it could be true; yet, everyone had come into believing that Dr. Mansour is the one who would keep his promises, so they all had invested in the holding company he had established.

In tonight’s episode of the show, doctor will make a phone call to the mastermind behind the holding company to inform him that the company has gone bankrupt and that the police is after him.

The owner of the company, however, will not be there to be found anymore.

Produced by Seyyed-Mahmoud Razavi and directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, ‘The Doormat’ revolves around the life story of some characters, who go beyond and come up with some get-rich-quick ideas.

Firooz used to run a carpet washing center but, since it closed down, he has had a hard time keeping his clients. His brother-in-law, Nosrat, unknowingly gets involved in some illegal activities and creates trouble for his family as well as his neighbors.

The star-studded cast includes Behnam Tashakkor, Sima Tirandaz, Houman Barqnavard, Amir-Hossein Rostami, Negar Abedi, Majid Yasser, Ebrahim Azadi, Shahin Taslimi, Jamshid Mashayekhi, Karim Qorbani, Sadreddin Hejazi, and Mohammad-Reza Shirkhanlou.

The show is aired daily at 18:00 GMT. iFilm English TV re-airs each episode the following day at 00:00, 09:00, and 15:00.
