Setayesh to hear her life’s most unbearable news

Setayesh is to hear the most difficult news of her life in the 24th episode of iFilm’s popular series ‘Setayesh’.

Life has been so cruel to Setayesh recently. She has gone through a series of losses since the unfortunate incident with her brother and then the untimely death of her mother.

Yet, she has stood strong as she had the love and support of Taher in her life. What may happen to her when she hears that the man, whose unwavering love has been her shoulder to cry on, is not alive any longer?

The first season of ‘Setayesh’, produced by Arman Zarrinkoub in 2010 and directed by Saeed Soltani, goes on air every day at 20:00 GMT. iFilm English TV repeats each episode of the series the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

In the series, Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein’s war of aggression.

His friend, who’s deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country. Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend’s sister, Setayesh, he agrees.

Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together.

The most notable on the cast list are Daryoush Arjmand, Gohar Kheirandish, Mahmoud Azizi, Narges Mohammadi, Fariba Naderi, Zahra Saeedi, Mehdi Pakdel, Mehdi Solouki, and Jamshid Mashayekhi.

The long list goes on with Hadis Miramini, Sima Tirandaz, Shiva Khonyagar, Azita Lachini, Mohammad Omrani, Maryam Boubani, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, and Mohammad-Reza Iranmanesh.

The first season of ‘Setayesh’ is comprised of 44 segments.
