World box office last weekend: Part 17

Hollywood movies gained the UAE cinemagoers’ favor in the 13th weekend of the year.

During the previous weekend, more than 12,200 cinemagoers in Dubai watched ‘Dune: Part 2’, a movie in the action-adventure genre. This made the movie the highest-grossing title of the week.

‘Manjummel Boys’, a Bollywood movie directed by Chidambaran, sold 6,833 tickets in its second week of screening in Dubai and got the second position in the box office.

The third highest-grossing movie of the week was another Indian flick titled ‘Anchakkallakokkan’ by Ullas Chemban. The film notched up a tally with 5,183 cinema enthusiasts taking the seats.
