iFilm to slash off ‘Heads on Gallows’

iFilm English TV Channel is to air the final episode of the historical series ‘Heads on Gallows' on Saturday.

The final episode of the series, directed by Mohammad-Ali Najafi, is aired on July 13, 2024.

‘Heads on Gallows’ depicts long ago when parts of Iran were plundered by Tatar and Mongol forces when Iranians planned a movement to free the country from cruelty and oppression.

The uprising of the Khorasan people and their leaders liberated the country after 120 years of tyranny, marking a milestone in Iran's history.

Notable on the cast list are Atash Taqipour, Amin Tarokh, Ali Nasiriyan, Alireza Mojallal, the late Fath-Ali Oveisi, the late Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, and Enayat Bakhshi.

‘Heads on Gallows’, made in 1984, will replace the series ‘Under the Vestibule’, by Sirous Moqaddam.
