Leila wishes she had a lot of big dreams in iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘Goodbye Child’.

The deep feelings of wanting to have a child have their roots in a learned desire from strong, long-standing social and cultural pronatal influences, not biological ones. And we’ve been influenced so strongly for so long that it just feels innate.

Leila and Morteza cannot have a child, so Leila wishes they had a lot of big dreams instead of wanting a baby. However, Morteza believes they cannot force God to give them a baby.

Produced by Davoud Hashemi and directed by Manouchehr Hadi, ‘Goodbye Child’ narrates the story of Leila and Morteza, a young married couple that are eager to start a family, but unfortunately they cannot have a child of their own.

Because of Morteza’s past criminal record, they are not able to legally adopt a child either.

Out of desperation, they decide to try all options to have a baby, even if it comes to some illegal actions.
