Lessons from past and hope ahead in ‘The Sound of Rain’

Let’s see how Marzieh's brother wants to help her make the right decision for the future in the tenth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘The Sound of Rain’.

Undoubtedly, it's the past by which we're defined.

However, being stuck in it is different from recalling good memories while also looking ahead.

Produced by Seyyed-Mohammad Hashemi-Asl and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the 40-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

The series narrates the story of, Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.
