Farid reveals his family’s dark secret in ‘The Sound of Rain’

Farid reveals his family’s dark secret to Uncle Taha in the twenty fourth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘The Sound of Rain’.

“There is something I have to tell you uncle; something that is not going to be easy to say at all,” Farid says.

He reveals that his sister Bita is pretending to be Baran in order to inherit the uncle’s wealth and company.

Produced by Seyyed-Mohammad Hashemi-Asl and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the 40-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

The series narrates the story of Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.
