Baran to accept proposal for money in ‘The Sound of Rain’

Baran is to accept an unpleasant marriage proposal for money in the twenty fifth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘The Sound of Rain’.

Baran is desperate to make some money as she is going to pay the hospital expenses for her friend’s surgery.

Her unpleasant suitor seizes the opportunity to buy her hand off for marriage and pay the hospital expenses.

Produced by Seyyed-Mohammad Hashemi-Asl and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the 40-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

The series narrates the story of Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.
