Farid has a good news for Baran in ‘The Sound of Rain’

Farid has a good news for Baran in the thirtieth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘The Sound of Rain’.

When Baran calls him, Farid insists that she is his long lost cousin and asks her to confirm that she is Baran.

Baran admits it and asks him about the reason he has been looking for her after all this 20 years.

And Farid tells her that her dad, Taha, has been released and returned.

Produced by Seyyed-Mohammad Hashemi-Asl and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the 40-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

The series narrates the story of Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.
