iFilm English TV to broadcast ‘A Mother's Song’

iFilm English TV Channel has been scheduled to start airing Iranian series ‘A Mother's Song’ on Monday.

Airing of the series, written by Masoud Behbahaninia, produced by Iraj Mohammadi and Mehran Maham, and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, is to be started on October 28, 2024.

It is about Farrokh and his sister, who haven’t talked to each other for more than a decade over an old family tension. Farrokh’s mother has come up with a plan to resolve the issue.

It’s time for her grandchildren to go to university, and she arranges it so that both Farrokh and his sister’s sons go to the same school and become friends despite not having seen each other since they were little children.

But there’s a secret about the two cousins that might ruin all her plans if it comes to light at the wrong time.

The cast list includes Mohammad Hatami, Danial Hakimi, Fatemeh Goudarzi, Bita Saharkhiz, Mohsen Afshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Homa Rousta, Elham Pavehnejad, and Siavash Kheirabi.

‘A Mother’s Song’, produced in 2008, is to replace the series ‘Father’ to be broadcast daily at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. ‘A Mother’s Song’ is comprised of 47 episodes.
