iFilm English TV to air ‘Dark Intelligence 1’

The Iranian series ‘Dark Intelligence 1’ has been set to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s schedule from Monday.

Produced by Seyyed Abbas Fatemi and directed by Masoud Abparvar, the series tells the story of Major Behrooz Ahmadi, a police officer at the cybercrime unit of Tehran's Criminal Investigation Department.

His unit is overloaded dealing with a wide variety of crimes from digital insurance fraud to international internet pyramid schemes.

But a case has grasped all Ahmadi's attention, which is related to a new criminal mastermind who goes by the name of Kamran. Kamran has killed at least a member of Ahmadi's team.

When Kamran learns the cybercrime officer is hot on his trail, he befriends Ahmadi's teenage son in his efforts to influence the cop and outsmart his team.

The cast list of the series includes Kamand Amir-Soleimani, Daryoush Asadzadeh, Mohammad Hatami, Behzad Khodaveisi, Majid Moshiri, Kioumars Malek-Motiee, Keikavous Yakideh, Kianoush Gerami, Hossein Yari, Rouhollah Kamani, Soudabeh Beizaee and Arsalan Qasemi.

‘Dark Intelligence 1’, produced in 2010, is scheduled to replace the series ‘Detective 3’, to be on iFilm’s screen every day at 19:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00. It is comprised of 15 episodes.
