Produced by Hossein Mojahed and edited by Ali Katebifar, its theme is about the schoolkids who lost their lives on February 28, when the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab, Hormozgan Province, became the site of a devastating massacre as the US and Israel initiated strikes against Iran.
As dozens of students aged between 7 and 12 were beginning their lessons, the facility was targeted by a series of deliberate missile strikes that caused the entire building to collapse; which resulted in the confirmed deaths of more than 168 civilians, mostly schoolchildren.
The 40-day US and Israel aggression on Iran led to martyrdom of about 3,500 people, including the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, several officials and military commanders, as well as numerous civilians, including women and children.
Here is the lyrics:
The earth is sitting, time is restless.
All glances are lost in the sunset of Minab.
All classrooms have become tents of blood.
Pens of sorrow have become pillars for the tents.
It is the epic time in the school.
Martyr is reciting the elegy of the world’s voice.
The voice reached this poem, it is doomsday.
The rhyme is full of tears, silence, and amazement.
They are removing rubble to pull a student out of the rubble. Friends, this is blood of our students on the Quran. Look carefully at this blood. This is blood of our students on the Quran. Our children, our students were torn to pieces under this rubble. Let the claimers of freedom know that this is a document of the Zionist regime's crime.
Sleep, my sweet daughter, you were drowning in fever.
Drink nectar of martyrdom, you were thirsty.
The buds of hope of homeland have become brave.
You got into the season of incident to become lions.
The schoolyard is your lasting legacy,
And the lesson of swallow's migration awaits you.
What a full backpack you carry in the rain of tears.
Your uniform has turned to an eternal flag.
Heaven has placed flower designs on the notebooks.
Spring and greenery grew on graves of the girls.
