iFilm English TV to start airing ‘In the Distance’

Iranian series ‘In the Distance’ has been set to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s schedule from Thursday.

Airing of the series, produced by Fariba Bank-Tavakkoli and directed by Javad Ershad, is to be started on July 23, 2026.

The series is about Rasoul and his brother-in-law, Iraj. They run a cooking oil factory together, but have to face a financial trouble following changes in the market.

They decide to sell some of the company’s stock in order to bring in new investment, but little do they know that Emad Bakhshi, their new business partner, is joining them with ulterior motives.

The most notable on the cast list are Shahrouz Ebrahimi, Bahram Ebrahimi-Yazdi, Danial Hakimi, Houman Barqnavard, Fatemeh Goudarzi, Fereshteh Sarabandi, Kourosh Soleimani, Shiva Khosromehr, Mohammad Omrani, Siamak Atlasi, Hossein Moheb-Ahari, and Maryam Khodarahmi.

‘In the Distance’, produced in 2016, is to replace the series ‘Dear Brother’ to be broadcast at 18:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 00:00, 09:00 and 15:00. The upcoming series is comprised of 37 segments.
