Mr. Ahmadi finds out that his son, accused of theft, was actually innocent. He had shunned his son for a crime he hadn't committed and now his son is dead. Ahmadi has to live with the knowledge that he treated his son unfairly. To get over his grief, his friend suggests that he allows 4 prisoners out on parole and are about his son's age to come and work on his dairy farm. So that maybe he could make amends by giving them the support he had denied his son.
