Haqiqatdoust, Shahram (born March 17, 1972, Rasht)

Shahram Haqiqatdoust studied Theatre at Islamic Azad University and started his career with stage-acting in 1994. He quickly became recognized as an influential theatre, TV and cinema actor. 

His first small screen appearance was the series ‘Love of the Blessed’ (1995) and his movie debut was a small role in Mehrjoui’s ‘Pear Tree’ (1997). 

He later joined the cast of the social drama ‘Story of a City’ and his performance led to further collaboration with director Jafari in his next project ‘The Red Line’ (2000) which brought him fame.

In the years that followed his success in TV, he took roles in movies such as ‘Greed’ (2002), ‘Crime’ (2003), ‘How Much for You to Cry?’ (2005), ‘Mouse’ (2007), ‘Morning of the Seventh Day’ (2008) and ‘Kalashnikov’ (2013).

Among the series he has acted in are ‘The Story of a City’ (2000), ‘Spellbound’ (2004), ‘The Rise of Mokhtar’ (2004-2009), ‘Passion to Fly’ (2011) and ‘Goodbye Child’ (2012).
