Boroumand, Marzieh (born June 7, 1951, Tehran)

Marzieh Boroumand graduated in Theater from University of Tehran’s Faculty of Fine Arts. She made her cinematic debut with one of Dariush Mehrjoui’s films. 

She has directed ‘City of Mice’ (1985), ‘Ziba Beauty Salon’ (1990), ‘Heirs of Mr. Nikbakht’ (1999), ‘Sweet Jam’ (2000), ‘Detective Shamsi and the Madam’ (2001-2002) and ‘City of Mice 2’ (2014).

Boroumand has also appeared in ‘Tehran License Plate 11’ (1997), ‘Hodhod Bookstore’ (2006), ‘The Memento’ (2007) and ‘Nothing’ (2009).
