iFilm English TV to start airing ‘Amen’

Iranian action series ‘Amen’ has been scheduled to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s playlist.

Airing of the series, directed by Behrang Tofiqi and produced by Javad Norouzbeigi, is to be started on May 5, 2026.

In ‘Amen’, Colonel Shirazi, the commander of a special unit code-named Amen, is assigned to close a case on a fugitive offender, Homayoun Tamaddon, who killed the colonel's brother during a hostage situation last year.

The police find a trace of Homayoun by discovering a truck loaded with drugs. They also monitor Homayoun’s son, who’s come to Iran to attend his wife’s memorial.

However, there are hidden hands that complicate things and hamper the police investigation.

The cast list includes Behnaz Jafari, Shahrokh Estakhri, Amin Hayaee, Majid Vasheqani, Kazem Balouchi, Daryoush Farhang, Hadi Saee, Asha Mehrabi, Soudabeh Beyzaee, Khatereh Hatami, Mohammad-Reza Davoudnejad, Shahrzad Kamalzadeh, Nima Raeesi, Yousef Teimouri, and Afsaneh Nasseri.

‘Amen’, produced in 2015 is to replace the series ‘Third Sense’ to be broadcast at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the action series the following day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00. ‘Amen’ is comprised of 19 segments.
