Ahou Kheradmand
Kheradmand, Ahou (born 1950, Tehran)
Ahou Kheradmand studied at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (presently named Faculty of Cinema and Theater) at Tehran University of Arts.
In 1968, she began her acting career in theater.
In 1972, she made her television debut in the TV series ‘Adam and Eve’ (1972). A year later, she began acting in cinema.
Kheradmand left Iran in 1984 and when she came back to the country in 2002, she began her cinematic activity.
She has appeared in several TV series, including ‘Where to in Such a Hurry?’ (2009), ‘Hereafter’ (2010), ‘The Rise of Mokhtar’ (2004-2009) and ‘A House without a Bird’ (2010).
She has also taken part in various movies, such as ‘The Fifth Reaction’ (2002), ‘The Beautiful City’ (2003), ‘We Are All Good’ (2004), ‘Parya's Story’ (2010), ‘A Respected Family’ (2012) and ‘Mirror and Candlestick’ (2012).
Kheradmand was nominated for the Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in the movie ‘Stars 1: To Be a Star’ (2005).
Her role in the movie ‘The Beautiful City’ (2003) gave her nominations for the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and an Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
She was also nominated for the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Leading Role and an Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in ‘We Are All Good’ (2004).
