Pourandokht Mohaymen began her career as a teacher at a theater office in 1973.

In 1977, she began working in television and then appeared in her first movie, 'Night Breaker' (1984).

'The Mystery' (1986), 'Tuberose' (1987), 'The Singing Cat' (1990), 'The Chump' (1991), 'Siavash' (1998), 'Her Eyes' (1999), 'The Passion of Love' (1999), 'Under the Peach Tree' (2005), 'Concert on Water' (2010), and 'Ekbatan' (2013) are some of the movies that Mohaymen has appeared in.
