A pilgrimage caravan is traveling from Tehran to Mashhad. Three elderly women whose husbands have died become friends on the train, and their sharing a room in a hotel leads to a closer bond and friendship. A suitor appears for Ms. Mohammadi in the caravan, and she tells her friends the truth that she has filed for divorce and that her husband is not dead, and that is why she wants a divorce.
