Rashidi, Davoud (AKA Davoud Rashidi Haeri: born July 16, 1933, Tehran - died August 26, 2016, Tehran) 

Being a veteran theatre, TV and cinema actor, Davoud Rashidi had First Grade Order of Art and Culture.

He studied Theater Directing and Acting in Geneva, Switzerland and had a Bachelor's degree in Political Rights from the University of Geneva.

His debut movie was 'Escaping the Trap' (1971). Besides acting, he worked in the field of film production.

Rashidi starred as "Noman bin al-Bashir" in the TV series 'The Rise of Mokhtar' (2009) and played the role of Priest "Monsieur Alfonse" in 'The Pahlavi Hat' (2012).

'Hezar Dastan' (1987), 'Primrose Flower' (1991), 'A Place of Love' (1996-2000), 'The Weary-Hearted' (2009) and 'The Chat' (2012) are some of the TV series in which he played roles. 

He also took part in several movies, such as ' Kamal-ol-Molk' (1383), 'Lean on the Wind' (2000), 'Extreme Cold' (2009) and 'Ekbatan' (2011).
