The movie tells the story of longing and hoping. Esmat has been waiting twenty years for the release of her husband from prison. As she waits patiently, it is her son, Javad, who can’t bear the separation any longer. Will his longing to see his father prevent him from living a normal life or will he be able to accept the fact that it will be years before he’s able to be with his father?
