Nikpour, Saeed (born 1945, Shahr-e Rey)
Nikpour began acting in Shakespeare and Schiller plays when he was a high school student.
In 1985, while still a student of dramatic arts, he collaborated with Soraya Qasemi and Mohammad Ali Keshavarz and appeared in his first professional work of theater.
From 1965 to 1993, he was either acting in or directing television plays and series.
Nikpour has acted in series such as 'Hunting a King' (1982), 'Amir Kabir' (1984), 'Rana' (1988-1990), 'Imam Ali' (1991-1996), 'The Young Officer' (2001), 'Shahriyar' (2005), 'In the Eye of the Storm' (2003-2008), 'Unbreakable Mirrors' (2008), 'House of Outsiders' (2009), 'A House without a Bird' (2010), 'Bluer Than the Moonlight' (2013-2014), and 'The Recluse' (2014).
He took on complicated roles such as Sattar Khan and Dehkhoda, while captivating the nation with his outstanding performances as Malek o-Shoara Bahar in 'Shahriyar', Mirza Hasan Irani in 'In the Eye of the Storm', and Amir Kabir in the series 'Amir Kabir' directed by himself.
He has also appeared in movies such as 'The Long Shadows of Wind' (1978), 'The Fateful Day' (1994), 'The Final Stage' (1995), 'The Visitor of Rey' (2000), 'Plans to Meet' (2003), 'City of Chaos' (2005), 'God is Near' (2006), 'Private Life' (2011), and 'Prowl in Azure City' (2014).
